Tyson HATs · Documentation
Find the installation guide for your Tyson hardware or learn how to use the software.
Please use the guide for your exact model. The P2S Installation Guides and Prusa CORE One Tyson HAT V2 manual are available. The CORE One guide covers the 120 V product, including its own software and network setup, warnings, and notes. For X2D, CORE One L, Qidi and other brands, use the manual supplied with your order.
After Hardware Setup, complete the Software Setup to run your TYSON Hotend, Hat, and/or Bed for the first time. For Prusa CORE One, follow the software setup in the CORE One manual.
| Guide | What you will learn |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Read temperatures, see connection status, and use the main controls. |
| Discovery app | Find a HAT's address on your local network. |
| Tyson Bambu Studio | Enable the Hat, Hotend and Bed options and use them when slicing and printing. |
| Firmware installer | Install or recover firmware over USB on Windows. |
| All software guides | Settings, calibration, backups, updates and troubleshooting. |
The software guides describe Bambu firmware 3.10.4, Discovery 1.0.2, and Firmware Installer 1.0.1. The installer still bundles firmware 3.8.84; select a newer compatible release when updating to 3.10.4. Prusa CORE One setup is documented in its V2 manual. A Prusa page here is not an instruction to flash the Bambu firmware.
Building an integration? The Developer reference covers HTTP controls, WebSocket chamber targets, scaling, calibration transfers and firmware updates, with request examples and a Python client.
Use the wiki search box or the sidebar navigation. Each model page links to its own installation guides. Software pages link to related tasks so you can move from finding the HAT to using its dashboard.
This website contains documentation. To control a HAT, open that device's dashboard on your local network.
Please read all warnings before operating your printer with TYSON modifications. If you are experiencing issues, please see the troubleshooting page.
